First of all, thanking the CREATOR who bestowed me to bring out the book ‘Biology-X Instant Notes’ to the students of class X following Kerala State Syllabus.

This book has been exclusively designed as a powerful tool for the last-minute preparation in the pursuit of success in the SSLC- Board Examination 2015.

Every effort has been made to make the descriptions point wise as per the new grading and evaluation system. Difficulties which nerve the students have been dealt with in a simple and lucid style.

I hereby express my sincere gratitude to Rahees Valappil (Director, Sunrise Institute- Pandikasala), who put forward the idea of making capsule notes, Vinod Sir (G.Rajas.H.S.S, Kottakal) & Jaleel Sir (Oriental H.S.S, Tirurangadi), who shared their valuable materials, my brother, Munawar Ahammed, who helped me in typing material
