Summaries of the Prose Chapters and Outline of Discourses - Meant for Weak Learners

        English Blog has always given preference to materials for the so called ' slow learners / weak students / below average students'. We believe it is they who need a helping hand more than anyone else. In most cases they are weak not because of their own fault. It might be the family or school or teachers or some other reason that made them so.
          This post is one such help. It consists of 'summaries of the prose chapters and outline of discourses' for weak learners. It was prepared by Abdul Jamal N.E. of GHS Thachangad, Kazargod. Dear Abdul sir thank you very much on behalf of all the above mentioned category of students.

The Women - Please help to interpret ?

Sir,
   I am struggling to get the interpretation of the poem 'The Women' by Louise Bogan. It is very difficult for me to give the students line by line interpretation. Would you please suggest a source for it? What does the expression 'wilderness in women' suggest? I have my on interpretation. But I don't think it is ample enough. Let me seek a solution in this blog.

How to prepare comprehension questions from the news reports we read...- Updated


           Here an English Teacher sets an example on how our habit of reading newspaper can help improve our students’ language skill by preparing interesting questions from the news reports we read.
       The advantages of such an endeavour like this are many folded. This will help our students enhance the skill to comprehend news reports, ability to prepare news report, improve their interest in reading newspaper and vocabulary skill etc.

Global Warming - a slide show

 ഒന്‍പതാം ക്ലാസിലെ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ നാലാം യൂണിറ്റ് പ്രകൃതിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്. ആദ്യ പാഠം പ്രകൃതി ചൂഷണം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാറായി എന്ന മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കുന്നു. തന്റെ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായ ശ്രീ. കൃഷ്ണകുമാറില്‍ നിന്നും പ്രചോദനം ഉള്‍ക്കൊണ്ട് ഘനശ്യാം എന്ന ഒന്‍പതാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥി 'ആഗോള താപനത്തെപ്പറ്റി' തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ഒരു സ്ലൈഡ് ഷോയും ഒരു ന്യുസ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടും ആണ് ഇന്നത്തെ പോസ്റ്റ്‌.
